When the teaser trailer for the James Gunn-produced “Brightburn” dropped in December of 2018, people have been eager to see this film. Now that the new trailer has dropped, we’ve got a little more insight on the horrors that lie within this film. Check it out below:
While we don’t know too much about the film, we do know that it’s a reimagining Superman-style tale where the premise is basically: “what if Superman turned out bad?” If anyone is a fan of James Gunn, then you are familiar with his horror roots. Although he didn’t direct the film, Gunn is heavily involved.
The film is directed by David Yarovesky and is written by cousin of James Gunn, Mark and brother Brian Gunn. “Brightburn” is currently is post-production and will be distributed by Sony Pictures, with a projected release date of May 24, 2019. The film stars Elizabeth Banks, David Denman, and Jackson A. Dunn.
